Terms of Service

1. About PickInvoice

PickInvoice is a digital invoicing platform. We provide a service that allows business users to receive invoices automatically after paying at a participating merchant by tapping their phone on an NFC terminal. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and acting on behalf of a registered business to use PickInvoice. By registering, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these terms on behalf of your company and that the company details you provide - including company name, registration code, and tax number - are accurate and up to date.

3. The service

PickInvoice allows you to:

  • Receive invoices automatically after tapping your phone at a participating merchant terminal.
  • Store and access your invoices from any device at any time.
  • Download invoices as PDFs for your accounting records.
  • On the Pro plan - add up to 5 users under one company account and view a company-wide spending dashboard.

We do not guarantee that every merchant location will be available at all times. Availability depends on the merchant's active participation in the PickInvoice network.

The Free plan includes 10 invoices per month. Invoices older than 3 months are stored but locked until you upgrade to Pro. The invoice is always generated and saved at the terminal - access restrictions never affect the transaction itself.

4. Accounts and security

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Do not share your password with anyone. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, contact us immediately at hello@pickinvoice.com. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorised use of your account where you have failed to keep your credentials secure.

5. Subscription and billing

PickInvoice is available on a Free plan and a Pro plan priced at €9.99 per month.

  • Pro subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payment is due at the start of each billing period.
  • You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again and will retain Pro access until the period ends.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing. We will give you at least 30 days notice by email before any price change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.

6. Accuracy of invoices

Invoices are generated based on transaction data provided by the merchant at the point of sale. We take reasonable steps to ensure that data is passed correctly through our system, but we are not responsible for errors originating from the merchant, including incorrect amounts, merchant names, or other transaction details. If you believe an invoice contains an error, contact the merchant directly or reach out to us at hello@pickinvoice.com and we will assist where we are able to.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use PickInvoice for any unlawful purpose, including fraudulent invoicing or false accounting.
  • Attempt to access another user's account or data.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise attempt to extract data or source code from the platform.
  • Register using false or misleading company information.
  • Attempt to disrupt or damage the platform or its infrastructure.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account that violates these rules, with or without prior notice.

8. Intellectual property

All content, design, code, and branding within PickInvoice is owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without our written permission. Your invoice data belongs to you. We do not claim any ownership over documents generated on your behalf.

9. Limitation of liability

PickInvoice is provided as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the service will not exceed the total amount you have paid us in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at hello@pickinvoice.com. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or if we are required to do so by law. Upon termination, your access to the service ends immediately. We will retain your invoice records for 10 years as required by Lithuanian accounting law, after which they will be permanently deleted.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Any disputes that cannot be resolved by mutual agreement will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Vilnius, Lithuania.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before any significant changes take effect. Your continued use of PickInvoice after that date constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you may close your account before they take effect.
